Religious Education

Our Christian foundation is vitally important to us and underpins the vision for all we do in school.

We see huge value in strong teaching and learning in RE. We follow the Suffolk Locally Agreed Syllabus for RE by teaching the Emmanuel Project Scheme. This scheme has been developed by teachers (including our own Headteacher) in our Diocese and promotes engaging enquiry-based learning.

We are inspected as a ‘church school’ via SIAMs – Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school’s Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.
